Day 1

Removal of obturation materials, removal of cast and fibre post, management of calcifications, Bypassing ledges and false canals

  • Introduction to your working station, Iatrogenic Ledges and False canal management, Cast Post and Fibre Post removal , Removal of obturation materials.
  • Calcifications: Free Hand and Guided management. Step by step planning

Hands-On

  • The participants will practice their skills in phantom heads under the microscope Zumax and in the bench.
  • Removal of obturation materials, ledge bypassing, removal of cast and fibre post, negotiating calcified canals.

Day 2

Prevention and management of Broken Instruments, MB2 canal identification and negotiation, Dilacerated canal management

  • Prevention of file breakage with TCA, Techniques to manage broken files (bypassing, Wedging, ultrasonic, Tube and glue)
  • Loops for removal of separated Instruments, MB2 canal identification.
  • Live demonstration Double curve dilacerated canal, broken instrument removal.

Hands-On

  • The participants will practice their instrument removal skills in phantom heads under the microscope Zumax, they will practice difficult canal identification in extracted teeth , and dilacerated double curve instrumentation in specially designed plastic tooth.
